I usually use the pot of 6-7.5 cm of diameters, sometimes cut upper part off. Too big pots are not good for the roots, because they make the roots cool down.

Is clean mate okay to use on all pots? Doesn’t it scratch the glaze on glazed pots?
The best way is to wipe pots with some clothe every day. But it's realy hard. If possible, you don't use it.
